I too always wanted to be an architech and never pursued it. Things have changed and now I must reconsider it. what turned me off before was the internship part of it. I was told you have to do an internship for someone for about 5 years. I saw on the internet that interns only make about $30,000 a year and there is no guarantee that you will move on. The reason I passed on it at the time is because I was making $65,000 a year when the opertunity was realistic. Do what your heart tells you to do.
